No. Conversion and editing happen locally. The site downloads its own code, fonts, and WASM engine, but never uploads your documents. Closing this tab releases the document data. Theme and language preferences are saved locally.
Not always. PDF output uses rhwp's rendered pages with a searchable text layer. HWP ↔ Word and PDF → HWP are text conversions: images, table structure, and original formatting are not preserved. Review the result before using it.
HWP 5.x and HWPX can be converted to PDF or DOCX. DOCX and text-based PDFs can be converted to HWP. Encrypted, password-protected, scanned, or damaged documents may not be supported. Legacy Word .doc files are not supported.
The editor supports plain body paragraphs, paragraph-wide bold and italic, undo, redo, and a page preview. Tables, fields, images, and other complex content remain in the document but cannot be edited here. Saving can still be affected by rhwp's format support.
